These early works were developed and first published during Jasmine’s time as a poet in residence at the Texas A&M University Writing Center's Black Box Writer Residency. “Double Dutch,” “Over,” and “Dead of Winter” trace the evolution of her poetic voice through reflective storytelling and explorations of memory, identity, and resilience.
